ABOUT ME

Having spent my first 19 years of life in Shanghai, China, and the second half in Minnesota, I have been working as a Chinese language tutor, translator, and cultural consultant in the Twin Cities for over 15 years. I have worked with students ranging in age from 4-year-old beginners to 75-year-old professionals. I have worked with students from all across the states. As a full-time tutor, I customize all my lessons specifically to my students' learning objectives, learning styles, and time available. I love working with students of all ages for various goals.

I offer customized Chinese lessons and cultural consulting for students, adults, and professionals. For school learners, I support immersion and academic programs, building reading, writing, speaking, and character recognition skills. For adults, I provide practical lessons focused on real-world communication and test preparation for HSK, AP Chinese, MTLE, and Foreign Service exams. I also deliver translation and cultural consulting for international projects, with past work including the Minnesota Timberwolves, VStar Entertainment, and Droplet Studio.
